So many screenplays in Los Angeles, so little space…clearly, this screenwriter/waitress/masseuse/cable tech/dentist/delivery person/actor has run out of space and tossed a batch of “old” scripts. The fact that the box was labelled “Old Scripts” tells us the screenwriter has hung onto them for however long it takes for a script to be “old”. In Los Angeles time, I’m willing to bet that’s less than six months’ time.
Wish I could tell you that streets littered with abandoned scripts are a rare sight, but I don’t want to lie to you. Sometimes you find them at yard sales (that’s a tag sale to you Midwesterners.)
